Success Barber Academy is a licensed barber school located in Stroudsburg Pennsylvania. Our barber school will prepare you to take on a career in barbering, teaching you all the latest practices in today’s barber industry.
We offer you full and part-time options so you can complete your training with a flexible schedule.
Full Time: Monday – Friday 9am – 4pm
Part Time: Monday – Friday 9am – 1pm
Part Time: Monday – Thursday 5pm – 9pm ( Currently Not Available)

Barber License Training (1250hrs)

Course Description and Goals:
The Barber training course is a 1250hr course required by Pennsylvania before you can sit for your state barber exam. You will receive theoretical and practical training in barbering that will give you the skills and knowledge to start a successful career in barbering. As a student and upon the completion of our barber program, you will be able to perform regular and styled haircuts, facial shaves, facials and all barbering services in today’s industry.
Pennsylvania Barber Crossover Program (695hrs)

Course Description and Goals:
The barber training crossover program is a course offered to licensed cosmetologist only.
As a licensed cosmetologist you will receive a 555hr credit. You will only need to complete 695 hours of barber training required by Pennsylvania before you can sit for your state barber exam. You will receive theoretical and practical training in barbering that will give you the skills and knowledge to start a successful career in barbering. As a student and upon the completion of our barber program, you will be able to perform regular and styled haircuts, facial shaves, facials and all barbering services in today’s industry.

Course Description and Goals:
The Barber Teacher training course is a program for licensed barbers who would like to become licensed Barber Teachers in the state of Pennsylvania. With your Barber Teachers license, you will then be able to teach the art of barbering.
Once you complete this course, you will be prepared to take and pass your Pennsylvania state barber board exam.
Pennsylvania Barber Teacher Prep Class (40hrs)

Course Description and Goals:
Once you meet the requirements to take your Pennsylvania Barber Teacher Exam, you will need to prepare to give your one hour lecture on a topic that the board selects for you 15 days before your exam date. You will also have to do a facial or shave practical presentation on a live model. This 40 hour prep class is design to prepare you to pass your Pennsylvania State Barber Teacher Exam

Once you meet the requirements to take your Pennsylvania Barber Manager Exam, you will need to prepare by studying Pennsylvania Barber Laws and Regulations. This 3 hour prep class is design to prepare you to pass your Pennsylvania State Barber Manager Exam
